Kirsten Krason is one talented lady, and her blog 6th Street Design School is one of my daily reads. If you're not familiar with it, you're in for a treat. I almost passed out when she asked to feature my house in her Friday post. I sent her some new pics of rooms I haven't posted on LC yet. Click HERE to check it out!
In other news, I am in Christmas mode earlier than normal this year. (Maybe Pinterest has something to do with it...) I'm sure many of you have seen these beautiful collections of holiday crafts, decor, and inspriation. If you haven't, then prepare to be impressed. Here some of the stellar publications that I've been reading with my hand on chin and coffee near by. (Click on the titles for links.)
It gave me lots of tips I'll be using again this season.
Twinkle lights, gingerbread, and brown paper packages on the brain...

Pinterest has totally made me want to decorate for Christmas since before Halloween!
I know, Casey. I used to make fun of people like us, and now I'm one of them!
Hi Heather...I came over from 6th Street and you had me at hello with your classroom makeover! Love it! I'm also an elementary teacher and am amazed that you have time to do all your projects, blog, AND teach! (And cook yummy recipes! ) I am a new follower, and look forward to your fresh ideas!
Heather...really enjoyed seeing your wonderful home with all of it's creative ideas today! How cute is your classroom and that you took the time to fix it up. Love your blog!
Loved seeing your beautiful home on 6th street design's blog and look forward to reading your blog. I have a question about your drinking glasses that are in the picture with the chalkboard. They are blue and I was wondering where you got them. I have been looking for drinking glasses and love those blue ones you have! My email is mlblackner@yahoo.com or you can just comment on here and I'll check back!! Thanks so much!! Mikelle
Congrats on the feature! Love your home:)
Thanks Kat:) Sherry and Mikelle, I'm so glad you've stopped by. Welcome, welcome! Mikelle, actually glasses actaully have a hint of green. Enscribed on the glasses is the word for "milk" written in several different languages. I got them from Anthropologie last year.
Karen, I bascially run around like mad most of the time...oh, and I stopped watching TV (except for Parenthood.) I'm hoping to post some classroom ideas this next year since I've found so many reader are teachers too. Thanks so much for becoming a follower!
