The Lovely Cupboard: Kindred Weekend + Link Party = Friday Celebration

Fridays are my favorite weekday (like most teachers), but this one happens to be even better than normal. In just a few moments, I'll be heading to St. Louis for my annual Christmas weekend with my college "kindred". We're spread out all over the Midwest now, but once a year we somehow finagle everyone's schedules for a weekend of shopping, eating, staying up late, and laughing about things other people would find ridiculous. We're only missing one of our crew this year. (She lives in England now, so don't feel too sorry for her.) My bestie and I have a tradition of ~~singing~~ ~~dancing~~ listening to all the music we loved in high school on the road there. Somehow, R & B ends up on the playlist, and fake microphones make an appearance.
